IsoDraw
5 provides highly productive tools for creating technical
illustrations. IsoDraw 5 is the first product in the world
with a tool for illustrating shafts and gears. Flexible parameters mean
that the steps for illustrating a gear have been reduced from hours to
just minutes. IsoDraw
5 has the ability to automatically create technical
illustrations from a 3D CAD drawing. In addition, the Link2Source™
technology in IsoDraw 5 creates a link between integrated
source data and the illustration. Changes to the source (e.g. CAD
drawing) are automatically carried out in the illustration, including
attribute settings. The
illustrations can be used without modification for print and electronic
media such as the Internet.
IsoDraw 5 is used in all areas of manufacturing and
by service providers to create technical illustrations. |

| The long awaited transfer of
3D design data to technical illustrations has arrived. CADprocess
forms the basis for the seamless integration of technical illustration
in enterprise processes. At the same time the new products of the
IsoDraw family mark the beginning of a new era in technical illustration
handling.
Until now the transfer of 3D design data has been very difficult due to the lack of interfaces and the immense data volumes. Although IsoDraw 4 successfully handled importing, it could not automatically provide the necessary quality. Similarly, the "explosion" functions advertised by many CAD providers failed to deliver the required results. CADprocess has solved these problems and for the first time enables the automatic generation of technical illustrations. The underlying concept is quite simple: Use existing enterprise data and ensure seamless integration of the technical illustrations in the enterprise processes. With the introduction of this new technology customers now have the opportunity to lower their technical illustration costs. IsoDraw 5 CADprocess will automatically remove the hidden lines from the 3D surface model and convert the lines using the “thick/thin technique” required in technical illustration. |
